Welcome to Magic Car Wash & Lube, operated by Shine and Slide LLC at 182 Henry Street, Hempstead, NY 11550. By using our website, booking an appointment, or participating in our SMS program or referral program, you agree to these Terms of Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Services

Magic Car Wash & Lube provides automotive services including but not limited to:

• Oil changes (synthetic and conventional)
• Engine flush
• Radiator flush
• Differential oil change
• Brake service (pads, rotors, calipers)
• AC service
• Battery check and replacement
• Wiper replacement
• Car wash
• Tire change and balancing

Service availability, pricing, and hours are subject to change without notice. For current pricing, visit the shop or call us directly.

2. Appointment Booking

By booking an appointment through our website:

• You agree to arrive within your scheduled window
• We reserve the right to release your slot if you are more than 15 minutes late without notice
• Cancellations should be made at least 2 hours in advance
• We will send you an SMS and/or email confirmation and reminder (with your consent)

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis for walk-ins. Appointments are not guaranteed to eliminate wait times during peak hours.

3. SMS Messaging Program

3.1 Program Description

Magic Car Wash & Lube operates a recurring automated SMS messaging program to send:

• Service and oil change reminders
• Promotional offers and discounts
• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Referral program notifications
• Seasonal service alerts
• Shop news and updates

3.2 How to Opt In

You may opt in to our SMS program by:

• Checking the SMS consent box on our contact form at magiccarwashlube.com/contact (the box is unchecked by default; checking it is your voluntary choice)
• Texting MAGIC to our SMS number (number will be published once carrier approval is complete)
• Providing your phone number in person at the shop and verbally agreeing to receive messages
• Filling out a Meta Lead Ad form with the SMS opt-in option selected

3.3 Consent Is Not Required

Your consent to receive SMS marketing messages is not a condition of purchase. You may receive our services whether or not you opt in to SMS.

3.4 Message Frequency

Up to 12 messages per calendar month per contact. Additional transactional messages (appointment confirmations, referral notifications) may be sent as needed.

Hard limit: No more than 2 marketing SMS messages per contact within any 24-hour period.

3.5 Quiet Hours

We do not send marketing SMS between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM Eastern Time. Transactional messages (appointment confirmations) may be sent outside these hours.

3.6 Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.

3.7 How to Opt Out (STOP)

Reply STOP to any message at any time. The following keywords will remove you from our list:

• English: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT
• Spanish: PARE, DETENER, CANCELAR, BAJA, ALTO

You will receive one confirmation message and no further marketing texts.

3.8 How to Get Help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any message or call +1 (516) 564-5640.

Automated response: “Magic Car Wash & Lube: Up to 12 msgs/mo. Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Help: +1 (516) 564-5640.”

3.9 How to Re-Subscribe (START)

Reply START, UNSTOP, or YES (after opting out) to re-subscribe. You will receive a confirmation.

3.10 Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Referral Program

4.1 How It Works

Existing customers may participate in our referral program by sharing their unique referral link. When a referred friend visits and completes a service, the referring customer earns a reward.

• A “converted” referral means the referred friend visits the shop and completes a paid service
• Rewards are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and have no expiration unless otherwise stated
• Magic Car Wash & Lube reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time
• Fraudulent referrals (self-referral, fake accounts, etc.) will result in disqualification and forfeiture of rewards
• One referral account per customer

5. Mileage-Based Service Reminders

With your consent, we may use your vehicle’s service history (make, model, mileage at last service) to send automated reminders when your vehicle is estimated to be due for service.

These reminders are estimates based on typical service intervals and your recorded mileage — they are not a substitute for professional inspection. Actual service needs may vary.

• You must be 18 or older to book services or participate in the SMS program
• You must be the account holder or authorized user of the phone number provided
• You agree not to use our website for unlawful purposes
• We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion

7. Limitation of Liability

Magic Car Wash & Lube is not responsible for:

• Vehicle damage caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed at the time of service
• Delays or cancellations due to circumstances outside our control
• Undelivered or delayed SMS messages due to carrier issues

Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nassau County, New York.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
